On May 29, 2011 there will be a national motorcycle event called “Ride to the Wall”. In this event, motorcycle enthusiasts from across the county converge on the D.C. metropolitan area to ride their motorcycles to the Vietnam Memorial to remember our veterans who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. The Haymarket Masonic Lodge will be hosting a free breakfast for riders and non-riders who stop by the lodge prior to their departure for D.C. In addition to honoring our veterans, we will also be accepting donations to help raise awareness about NBIA.Brittany Leap a 15 year old resident of Haymarket was diagnosed with NBIA 5 years ago.Currently there is no treatment or cure for this devastating disorder.Haymarket Masonic Charitable Foundation will match the donations received up to $5,000.00.
